OUR STORY: Having lived in the Middle East for more than 15 years and being fortunate enough to have grown up living an active life in the UK and Australia, Kerrie Alder, as owner of Funky Fit Sports Wear LLC, approached Lorna Jane Clarkson and her husband Bill to explain the amazing culture of the Middle East and how she believed that women of the Middle East would soon be embracing change to reap the benefits of living an active life.  This change was already taking hold in the UAE, and over time was sure to become infectious throughout the region, and the benefits of living a healthier more active life would slowly touch more and more lives of the amazing women living in the wider Middle East. 

Kerrie asked Lorna and Bill to allow her to bring Lorna Jane Active Wear Australia to the Middle East. She wanted to bring the essence of an active life, as represented by Lorna Jane, to the women of the Middle East, as she believed that as women embraced a healthier lifestyle they deserved access to great active wear to support them on that journey.  She also believed that Lorna Jane, as a female centric brand, and with Lorna's own personal story as a pioneering female entrepreneur would resonate with women of the Middle East whilst also providing inspiration, education and motivation.

Our aim at Lorna Jane ME is to offer women the best active wear on the planet, to serve our customers with honesty, integrity and a smile, and also to engage in collaborative, inclusive events that promote a fitter healthier lifestyle.

We believe that women are at the heart of every family and thus their well-being can ensure a healthier fitter, more active family through many generations via their leadership and influence within the family.  Active as a way of life is a game changer, and many women are embracing this change and want to inspire a healthy active life for all of their family.

Opening the 1st Lorna Jane branded store in the Middle East, Lorna Jane ME (*operated by Funky Fit Sports Wear LLC) provides a boutique experience where women can embrace getting ready for an active life, often embarking on this journey for the very 1st time, and where they can feel nurtured and supported by informed and caring stylists, leaving the store with confidence and peace of mind that they have selected an outfit that not only looks and feels great, but also supports them in the active life that they intend to lead (or are already leading).

At Lorna Jane ME, and throughout the world, our mission is to empower and educate women to live a life they love through Active Living and the daily practice of Move, Nourish, Believe. We actively encourage all of our staff also to lead an active life and to practice what we preach, as does Lorna Jane founder @ljclarkson and as do our many ambassadors and collaborators - sisters combined in the quest for a healthier, fitter more active life !
